Celebrating over 40 years in the business, the award-winning Horton has decided to call it a day in terms of being a professional, practising and published art exponent, and with it bringing an end to a seemingly never-ending succession of timeless studies which have left the modern art world a lot richer for their collective presence. Speaking of his decision, Horton recently told media outlets that; “The life of an artist is a very special one and creativity is everything; I’ve been exhibiting my art for over 40 years and the passion of the young aspiring artist still burns bright.” Entitled ‘A Valid Path’, this individually-signed, giclee mounted limited edition iteration forms a core part of this last ever series of limited edition prints, and pictorially focuses on a familiar landscape, populated by equally familiar visual props. Including the mysterious wizard-like character of yore, a spread of trees and of course, the titular path leading the viewer ever onwards.
