We imagine THIS is precisely what act the Queen would perform if the reigning monarch (the longest-serving in British history, lest we forget) ever appeared at the auditions for prime time TV variety show, Britain’s Got Talent. What else but her beloved corgis jumping through hoops for the judging panel – fronted by Simon Cowell – to pass comment on. It has ratings winner written all over it, if you ask us. Anyway, aside from a cheese-fuelled dream/nightmare (delete as applicable) this is the very vision conjured up in the mind’s eye of late, by one of the country’s most exciting contemporary fine art practitioners; namely Nick Joly.

Aptly titled, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, this perfectly formed 17.5” x 17.5” framed wall sculpture has been crafted to commemorate HRH Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday which she’s celebrating this year. And hence why there’s only the 90 hand-signed (by Joly that is, not HRH) limited edition pieces up for grabs from the launch of this cheeky – yet hilarious – study which the award-bagging artist has release this Spring 2016.
