There’s a perfect weight and balance of composition to this brand new Paul Corfield visual number, although stopping short of being what might be referred to as symmetrical. From the two equidistant white dwellings (typical Corfield pictorial fayre) and colourful tree and bushwork (please see previous brackets) through to the stretch of reflective water and setting sun. Which pleases us as greatly as it will Corfield’s legion of loyal fans and seasoned collectors alike from the very outset.

That’s not to say that the best-selling contemporary landscape artist is a stickler for tradition, as countered by the illustrative display presented in the tree trunks; which under closer investigation by the more eagle-eyed amongst you will behold an elaborate dotting process which breaks with any form of Corfield tradition we’ve ever been privy to before (and trust us when we say, that’s a lot). Limited to a mere 150 hand-signed giclee on board editions from launch this Spring 2016, we would urge interested parties to contact us ASAP to reserve their iteration sooner rather than later.
