Peter Smith’s latest ‘Lost Alice’ portfolio comprises of some 6 unique canvas on board studies, each of which tell an altogether familiar story of sorts to those of you familiar with the tales of Lewis Carroll. Blended with more than a dash of modern day storyteller-in-chief and master of the macabre, Tim Burton, the critically acclaimed contemporary fine art practitioner Smith has illustratively fused two particular creative approaches and styles to deliver his own unique graphic take on just where he visually sees the eponymous character being today. Or rather as a 50-year old woman.
