Having previously worked in animation as the lead character designer for Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants as well as being invited to provide bottle and can-based sketches for Coca-Cola Light for the Mexican market (the first time ever that Coke had collaborated with a fine artist in this context), acclaimed contemporary observational figurative artist, Todd White is no stranger to challenging briefs.

Hence why he didn’t shirk when approached by his UK art publisher, DeMontford Fine Arts, to create something quintessentially British exclusively for our market, ahead of his summer tour to our shores in 2013.

The resultant ‘Gentleman Jacks and Top Tottys’ quirkily and comedically captures what White (slightly tongue in cheek) sees as traditional British life (of the London variety anyway), having decamped in the capital to absorb the culture he witnessed, from street markets to pubs.

White’s brand new painting – and first ever that’s been completed purely for the UK market - is available now as an artist-signed, limited edition hand-embellished giclee composition, which is presented with its own certificate of authenticity.
