With a soundtrack to kill for, a style of slick, graphic art direction that had the audience on the edge of their seats and performances that inspired a generation of aspiring actors, this collection of men in black were not combating extra-terrestrial forces with light-hearted banter back in the 1990s, yet were instead channelling some very dark arts.

‘Reservoir Dogs’, as if anyone needs reminding, was acclaimed alternative director, Quentin Tarantino’s tour de force that placed him firmly on the cinematic map. Much sought after contemporary artist, Zinsky’s most recent creative foray, ‘Reservoir Dogs’ captures the very pictorial essence of the film of the same name, in all its vivid, antagonistic and dramatic sense of styling.

A fearsomely etched, fiery-coloured backdrop does little to lift the mood from one of intimidation and menace, when contrasted with the presence of Messrs White, Orange, Pink, Blue, et al as they walk towards the viewer and into celluloid and art history……
