By this age our children can already programme the DVD player, send a text message and download an entire compendium of Jay-Z’s music onto an iPod, but not too many years ago, the only net they both knew and cared about was of the variety you submerged into water in the vain hope that it would resurface with the biggest fish you ever clapped your eyes on flapping around in. Or in reality, a few minnows that instantly marked you out as a hunter/gatherer in the eyes of your sulky peers and was worthy of a whole lotta Boy Scout points. Fine artist, Keith Proctor commits this very visual thought and yesteryear image to his most recent canvas as seen here. Concentrating like there was no tomorrow, the youngster is on the hunt for a monster haul and by Jove, we think he’s onto something by the looks of it.
