Once there he wasted no time is creating this very composition, depicting a flotilla of gondolas moored up by a thriving, bustling quayside, waiting to catch the romantically imbued denizens and visitors alike as they circumnavigate their way homeward after a gloriously spent evening in the crux of the city.
