Perched on the table next to a lush green apple and a bouquet of lavender, stands a
red combed feathery grey cockerel. Framed by the green and red diamond patterned
curtains, the cockerel has turned his back on the view through the window behind
him, more content with hungrily eyeing the apple. Out of the window, cows mill
around on the grassy foreshore, oblivious to the fishing boats chugging to and fro
across the deep blue waters of the bay. On the beach a man walks his dog, whilst
people walk along the pastel cottage lined jetty down towards the shore.
