Purple Rain by Neil Dawson lights up the room. Not only the room but anyones face when the stand back or set eyes on it for the first time.
This painting makes you feel warm and safe, busy and exciting all at the same time.
The people on the bus, in the car and in the taxi are as snug as the viewe, safe from the rain. But the rain isn't cold it's being lit up by the reflection of the lights from the traffic with the safe, snug travellors and suddenly everything unfriendly or difficult or chaotic about London, all the sad memories or the difficult times overcome in London are washed away in the purple rain, by Neil Dawson.
I am the proud owner of number 99 and waited over a year and a half to finally own this stunning piece.
