Jean Claude Tron was born in Chanpagne sur Oise, France in 1943 and began painting at age thirteen. He left school at sixteen to work but his passion was to paint so he attended evening classes to study art. Jean Claude Tron has exhibited in many prestigious galleries and fulfilled many commissions but did not commit himself to painting full time until 1990.
His bright, colourful landscapes and tranquil beach scenes are particularly popular in Europe and America where his work is in constant demand. His reputation has steadily grown and his original paintings sell for commanding prices.
